Your friendly neighborhood eatery specializing in Greek cuisine. In 1985, John opened the Olympic Café with his mother Bia. Having both immigrated from Greece, they wanted to bring classic Greek cuisine and a warm, hospitable mentality to the people of North Park and San Diego. In 1992, John married Donna who would bring her homemade desserts to the restaurant. Nearly 40 years later the restaurant is still going strong and the middle son of three, Nick, has also become a part owner. You can expect to see at least one of the family members at the restaurant daily as there is a firm commitment to our roots, original recipes, and the people of our neighborhood which we have served all these years.
