Welcome to JJ’s Sports Bar & Grill(the former Bob Evans)! Locally and family owned, although we have experience, this is a new venture for us that we are excited to provide for you! We currently have several thriving Mexican restaurants in Illinois including one here in Mt. Vernon – El Rancherito that has been open for over 28 years! Our name, JJ’s is us – the Jacinto family! Our family is huge but two J’s was plenty. Family is #1 to us which is what we offer – a nice, relaxed and fun, family friendly restaurant with a different but delicious menu consisting of brunch and a mix of other fresh foods including hand cut steak and fries. Our full bar consists of 16 different draft beers, build your own bloody marys and so much more! Feel free to try your luck on our slots or kick back and watch your favorite team win.
